[LOVE IS HARD. He's just got a lot of feelings Roxy and they're mostly about you. And unlike her, he doesn't have any friends to compare what he feels for her now to anything he feels for them. This is rare for him, really. The closest he's ever had to a friend was Dojima, and he was his boss who he deceived for months. A feeling like this... it's greater than anything he's felt for a long while. It's almost enough to drown out his bitterness, to give him another shot at being happy despite his knowing that it's only a matter of time before she disappoints him. She has to, there's no other way to get around this... But fuck it if he doesn't want to ride the upswing on the way. He needs to get his kokoro under control and to stop doki doking so goddamn hard first, though. She did say "really good friend", but then again, they've also been fucking quite a bit. Friends don't exactly fuck.]

not that i have much to tell about home in the first place
but its nice knowing thats not something i have to worry about when i spend time with you

[ sadly, roxy has no idea that adachi's setting himself up for disappointment in that way; all she's doing is enjoying being with him and getting to know him, and she assumes he feels the way about her.

things are complicated enough right now. she doesn't need to add another layer to this... it'll probably end up happening anyway because no one can control life, but right now she's content taking things relatively slow. ]
